Beautiful oil on canvas with a typical "Dutch landscape".

Painted by the painter Gien Brouwer,

Painter Gien Brouwer lives and works in the Utrecht area.
In Rotterdam, he attended the art academy, after which he got private lessons from Hermanus Jozef Wijngaard.

His great love is painting with oils on linen with naturalistic colours.
He completely masters this technique. He also made plastic artworks for universities. The themes which he chooses are mainly Dutch
landscapes, such as polder and river landscapes.

His paintings give the right picture of a real Dutch landscape with a threat in the air or a summer day.

Gien Brouwer exhibited in Utrecht, Amsterdam, Venlo, Düsseldorf,
Frankfurt and Munich and also painted under the name 'Gien van de Velde'.

Work is in nice condition, (lacks a minuscule tip of paint) the canvas measures 60 x 50 cm.
The frame is beautiful (with minimal signs of wear).

The work will be carefully packed and sent by PostNL.
