Carlo Bugatti was a prominent Italian designer. Best known for his associations and contributions to the Art Nouveau movement. Born in Italy, Milan, 1856. He studied at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris before manufacturing furniture  in Milan in 1880. 

A unique, very rare, (side) tea-table/sewing table from the famous designer Carlo Bugatti.
With pewter inlay, and molten metals. Decorated with brass with star motifs, vellum, patinated into a copper look. Floral inlays.
Tabletop covered with goat skin. 
Top padded with parchment. 
Bamboo motifs. 
Walnut.

This table is unrestored and totally original.
In very good condition for its age!
