This is perhaps the most striking VW Beetle in Europe. This rat-look classic started its life in 1970. The car was converted long ago with the original cut-out from a split window Beetle from 1951. 

The famous double rear window was used with large grilles under them. Also used were the long bonnet, the long engine cover at the rear, the single-piece windows and the mudflaps with large horizontal headlights. The fuel filler cap is also under the bonnet just like the original, there are Hotrod exterior mirrors mounted, whitewall tyres with chrome hubcaps and wheel rims, a lowered and adjustable front axle and spindles, a roof rack with 2 suitcases and skis from the 50s, a green sun visor for the small flat windscreen, voodoo figurines throughout the interior and on the outside, rats, spiders, etc. See photos.

More than €1,100 was recently spent on the engine and mechanics at a VW garage. Replaced were the battery, contact points, spaghetti exhaust, ignition, DC alternator, engine oil, brake fluid, filters, major brake service and various gaskets. The body is as sound as a bell and rust-free, sprayed with a very expensive rust paint last year. This creates the impression as if the car has been in a swamp for the last 50 years, however the body is in actual fact sleek and hard everywhere. In any case, this car will attract lots of attention!

The car starts, drives, shifts and brakes great thanks to the recent maintenance, it has a valid Dutch registration. This classic can be used immediately.

This classic is exempt from Dutch periodic inspection and road tax.
