GS Birotor Wankel

 . Restored.
 . Very rare car
 . Sliding roof
. Wankel engine equipped with an injection system worth €10,000.

One of the most special Citroëns, the very recognizable GS variant. The Birotor, of which 874 were built in 1974 and 1975, is the only series-made Citroën that is equipped with a Wankel engine.
The main changes of the GS Birotor compared to the GS:
Bodywork:
• bottom (due to a modified exhaust)
• welded (and adapted) inside of the front wings
• different headlight holder
• custom front cowling
• modified front subframe with connecting elements to the rear subframe
Exterior:
• front and rear wings widened
• metal-grey rims with special hubcaps
• grey grille with gold-coloured chevrons
• stainless steel exhaust trim
• aluminium sill fittings
• black and white decorative strip on the flanks
Interior:
• beige dashboard with round gauges
• modified beige console and gearstick
• moquette carpet
• new front seats with attached headrests

Approximately 270 of the 874 originally built GS Birotors are believed to be left. There are 234 in France known by the Club Rotatif. About ten in the Netherlands. In addition, there is a small number outside Europe.

The colour combination of this GS is very elegant, the bodywork is painted in brown metallic. A very nice contrast with the mustard-coloured velvet interior.

This Birotor is in very good condition and was restored between 2013 and 2015. The paintwork is still in very good condition. The sills, mudguards, doors, bonnet and boot lid have a good fit.
The exhaust was replaced by a stainless steel one.

If you are a Citroen fan and are looking for a beautiful, rare and great driving GS Birotor, then now is the time to enjoy this car.

We can arrange export documents and transport for you. A 2-week insurance is also possible if necessary!
