A vintage metal brass wall clock by German manufacturer Junghans in well-functioning condition, late 1960s. The movement of this Junghans clock is original, these were often replaced over time.  

The movement is a Junghans ELECTRONIC M 1000, 5 sec/24 h. The Lic.ATO print means that this movement was built according to the patent of Leon Hatot, which Junghans did after WWII. Junghans probably only officially acquired the licences from Hatot after 1958, but Junghans introduced the transistor drive a bit later. 

This wall clock can be started using a Start and Stop slide switch. The button on the back can be used to adjust the hands by pulling it out slightly, but it is even easier to do this at the front by adjusting the hands to the correct time.   

Note: Scratches, stains, patina formation, a bit dusty and tiny damage to the paint.

Measurements: Diameter 36 cm x Depth 2.5 cm This lot comes with a battery.
