A rare, complete series of antiquarian books on French mantel clocks written by Tardy. The books contain many black and white photographs and a few colour photographs.
The first part is on the first French mantel clock up to Louis XV, the second part addresses pendulum clocks from Louis XVI to the present, and the third and last part addresses mantel clocks from the French provinces and from abroad.

The books are in acceptable condition (see photos).
The lot will be well packaged and sent by registered mail.
