Superb bookends from the 1900s.

One of them is signed Franjou and the other one Frecourt.

- FRANJOU was a great French sculptor whose real name was "Hippolyte Moreau" (1832-1926).

- Maurice Frécourt (1890-1961)

Small lack on the tail of the bird and marble idem (see photo).

The birds are made of silvered babbitt metal, I guess and the deer is made of babbitt metal with bronze patina.
