The Renault Caravelle was a car produced between 1962 and 1968 by French car manufacturer Renault.

With its sporty silhouette, a true two-seater with the addition of two more rear seats to accommodate more comfortably two more passengers.

Fabric soft top in beautiful condition, recently replaced, opening/closing mechanism is smooth. 

Paintwork is beautiful and shiny in the unusual metallic CAPRI BLUE colour, it was recently restored; the front and rear compartments were also recently restored and are sturdy, in beautiful condition.

Underbody floor is solid (as shown in photos) with any improvements at the discretion of the new owner.

Inside the cabin, ivory vinyl seats are in beautiful condition, without any tears. 

This car is an old restoration that still looks very good. It features Alpine rims that were a rare optional extra with widened groove and new tyres that were recently replaced.

Original engine as shown in the registration certificate, type 688-03. It is in good running order with a recent check just carried out, with overhauled carburettor, contact breakers, capacitor and small routine maintenance.

An electrical check was recently carried out, including new battery.

The feeler gauge test was carried out on the bodywork and showed no major accidents (as shown in photos).

In April 2021, it passed a technical inspection, which is valid until April 2023. However, it is a direct purchase from the previous owner and normal maintenance may be required in the future at the discretion of the new buyer. 
The car can be driven on the road and is really fun to drive, a true cabriolet for the good weather.

Documents are ready for transfer of ownership or export.
