In 1924, during her training at the legendary Bauhaus, Alma Siedhoff-Buscher designed this building game as part of a children's room in the model house "Am Horn" in Weimar. 

The original design of the toy by Alma Siedhoff-Buscher is a 22-piece version and is produced by the Swiss Naef since 1977
