A superb adult mosasaurus (Platecarpus ptychodon) specimen - 4.8m long! Best preservation - high end top fossil!

The lab did a magnificent job in restoring this animal's former glory offering a rare view back in time. The pieces were carefully prepped to obtain a 3D presentation with some remaining original matrix visible between the vertebra's.  

The skeleton is very complete, from nose bone to tail.  Single tail vertebrae never got separated during preparation!

A few teeth were missing and have been - anatomic correct - replaced. 
No plaster or resin bones nor 3D printed pieces in this fossil!

Metal stand included.

Own transportation within 600km around Brussels, further shipping with private transport. Insured and track&trace  transport but outside EU on buyers responsibility (all shipments remain insured!).
