Antiek BAKOGNE Kortzwaard uit de Congo. 
Daadwerkelijk tribaal gebruikt dus we zien de te verwachten gebruikssporen. Ca. 1920.
Let op de handgreep , deze is van hout en geheel omwikkeld met rood koperdraad in rozet vorm.
Zeldzaam stuk Etnografica.
Lengte 43 cm. Breedte 9.00 cm.

De oorspronkelijke verzamelaar was de vrouw van de commissaris van Politie en Chef , van Leopoldville in de Congo. Zij zelf was actief als Schooljuffrouw. ( zie laatste foto met haar Congolese leerlingen)
Ik plaatste ook wat foto’s van beiden en hun Congolees personeel en relaties.
( deze kan ik evt. Mailen )
Hij was uit hoofde van zijn functie ook chef bij de Force Public , de Congolese ordetroepen.
Foto’s uit het foto album dat ik verkreeg bij de stukken die momenteel ter verkoop gaan.
Vooral zij was een gedreven verzamelaar.
