Elegant and shimmery lot of 9 Anjou glasses on high thin 4-sides stemm. These glasses are extremely beautiful and simple.
It was in the 1910s that the idea of ​​an Anjou wine glass appeared with initiative of winemaker André Gilles-Deperrière and journalist Raymond Brunet.  In April 1914, the Union of Winegrowers of Maine-et-Loire launched a competition for its creation.
On May 30, 1914, the jury selected the project of Louis Mignot, winegrower in Rochefort-sur-Loire, but it was only presented to the public in January 1920. 
All glasses are in excellent condition.
