This 1976 Mercury originally comes from New Mexico and Texas.
It has always remained dry, which is why the body panels are in truly exceptionally good and, above all, unwelded original condition.
Painted once, of good quality by American standards, in the original beige colour. However, years have passed since, which is why the paint has various scratches, dents, and signs of wear.
The vinyl roof has various small round tears. It was probably hailed on at some point. This can also be seen by looking at the various small dents on the boot lid and on a decorative bar.
The interior is truly in excellent condition, however, the upper dashboard panel has fine cracks, which is why it is covered up with a special mat.
The electrics of the vehicle work flawlessly and the front headlights have already been replaced by H4 bulbs in accordance with European regulations.
The vacuum-controlled headlights also work flawlessly.
The 460 CUI/7.5 litre engine is in very good condition, starts immediately, has a beautiful sound, and is dry except for a minimal oil film.
One hydraulic tappet sometimes makes a noise in neutral gear depending on the oil temperature.
The three-speed automatic transmission changes gears cleanly and flawlessly, and is dry except for a minimal oil film.
The brakes of this vehicle work excellently.
Various rubber axle boots have already been replaced and are generally in very good condition.

This vehicle comes with a US title, various spare parts, the papers from the initial sale, and a customs clearance certificate for Europe/Federal Republic of Germany. All customs duties have been paid.
