Triumph Spitfire 1.3 MK3 1968 convertible with hardtop.

Offered here is a Triumph Spitfire MK3 1.3 litre from 1968, in a signal red colour, with black leather bucket seats and a hardtop, Belgian registration

The last time the Triumph Spitfire MK3 was on the road was in the mid 1980s. The car was then brought to a garage for restoration and has not moved there for over 2 decades. From 1968 until now, the Triumph has driven 38,895 miles. The condition of the Triumph is an older restoration. As far as we know, this Triumph Spitfire MK3 was bought new in Belgium in 1968 and has remained there since.

The car was recently serviced The fuel system was serviced and new KN filter were placed. The ignition has been renewed. The drive line was serviced where necessary. 

The brakes were serviced, the brake master cylinder was renewed, as ws the clutch cylinder. The previous owner has fitted the car with a new top, but it needs to be refitted for a more clean shape. The included hardtop needs some work.  

Danger lights were installed as an extra upgrade for safety, because this was not done by the factory in the sixties. The gearbox shifts properly and the engine runs like a dream. Which means that a test drive is possible. The car is sold in its current condition, 'as is'.
