Grande braciere in rame antico  con sottovaso in ferro battuto con 3 piedini di sostegno a zampa di leone. Provenienza Sud Italia (Ischia).
Il braciere in uso in casa per lo più fino agli anni ’60, ha accompagnato diverse generazioni in un calore familiare domestico forte quanto, e forse più, il calore stesso del braciere intorno al quale ci si riuniva e si raccontavano le belle storielle, quelle dei nonni, che facevano felici i più piccoli. Carbone, carbonelle e “cernitura” riempivano quell’utile contenitore di rame che risale ai tempi dei romani e greci e che nella stagione invernale diventava il padrone assoluto del rifugio familiare di ogni ceto e condizione sociale.
