Jaguar XJC 4.2 Coupé "Overdrive" with manual transmission, delivered new in Italy, one of the few European versions delivered in 1975. The car remained in Milan until 1980, when it moved to Sicily where it was well preserved by the dry weather. The car has been owned by one person since 1980.

The bodywork is still in the original Ivory colour and needs to be restored, but it is basically sound and complete with all its details, except for some minor visible rust.

The interior has been impacted by the hot southern Italian climate and the seats need reupholstering, but the car is complete and original;

The engine is not blocked and the car runs, a compression test produced very good values (see photo);

The chassis needs to be restored in some parts, but it has never been welded.

The MOT expired in 2006 and has not been needed since.

This Jaguar XJ Coupé is a great investment car, it is fitted with the glorious E-TYPE 4.2 engine and was produced in very few specimens in Europe, with manual transmission, and fewer still with Overdrive written on the chassis number, it is very difficult to find them as complete as this for restoration with the documents and the black plates.
