HUGE 27" SFBJ Bebe Jumeau bisque ANTIQUE French doll in All Antique Costume & Shoes


This huge 27inch (69cm) dreamy, angelic SFBJ, Bebe Jumeau size 13 from the earliest SFBJ period (early 1900s).


Excellent transition era French Bebes Jumeau - SFBJ.

You don't come across this size very often. 

Fully dressed in fantastic original ANTIQUE clothes and the accompanying underwear and shoes.
Bisque head on its original fully articulated original composition and wooden body. She has original wig with human hair with pate on her head.
Beautiful original functional sleep gray paperweight eyes for which this company was known, but do not close completely. Have lower lashes painted above, dark, finely shaped and feathery and slightly shaped eyebrows. Mouth with slightly smiling mouth with accent lines and a row of six porcelain teeth between her lips. She has a sweet dimple in her chin and pierced ears.


MARKS: SFBJ 301 / Paris / in orange signed: 13
Underneath her sole of her foot the blind mark no. 13

As you can see she is fully dressed in a beautiful truly antique outfit consisting of: Antique cream white antique dress with a pink silk ribbon and a beautiful antique cape over it and the accompanying bonet. These are both lined with silk with rose silk ribbons.
On her feet antique brown leather shoes are marked with number 12 (only her stockings are not old).
Condition: Generally excellent, there is no damage, hairlines or repair to her bisque head. Clothing also beautiful
These are minor details: Hands a bit thinner in color, right middle finger was glued back once, a wax eyelid eye is gone and a small hairline tear in the white of one eye: see the detail in the photos.
They are really not major flaws, but of course they have to be mentioned.
