A medium sized Mughal Empire period (1555–1857) fine brass ewer rising from wide flared foot through bulbous body to almost cylindrical neck with pronounced collar and rounded mouth with separate hinged domed lid attached to ear-shaped handle, the spout decorated with zoomorphic head resembling fish, main body adorned with wide band of vegetal scrolling patterns, 20½cm tall. 

Condition: Generally very good. Two miniscule holes to the body, minor dents.

The lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered mail.
