STORIA/PANORAMICA
La Spada Codatronca Monza è stata progettata dallo studio torinese Spadaconcept (Ercole Spada) nel 2011 con tagli di design tesi e decisi, conferendo una forte personalità alla vettura. Guardandolo frontalmente si notano subito le grandi prese d'aria che si aprono nella parte inferiore.
L'elemento più distintivo però è sicuramente la “coda”, che è nettamente troncata. Un dettaglio che salta subito all'occhio.

I grandi roll bar dietro i sedili ci lanciano subito in un'atmosfera “racing”, facendoci sognare la pista. Inoltre, la Spada Codatronca Monza Barchetta TSS nasconde un telaio in tubi di alluminio, integrato da un telaio ausiliario in magnesio che sostiene il motore di chiara derivazione sportiva. Il cuore è un iperpulsante V8 pluricilindrico da 7.0 litri donato dalla Chevrolet Corvette "a stelle e strisce", completamente revisionato dall'italiana Italtecnica e sovralimentato.

Con una potenza di 720 CV a 6.200 giri/min, e una coppia “bestiale” di 950 Nm a 4.200 giri/min, il motore “spara” la Monza TSS da 0 a 100 km/h in 3 secondi per una velocità massima “stimata” di 335 km/h. H!
Dotata di: cerchi OZ da 19”, che calzano pneumatici Pirelli PZero nelle misure 285/35 e 345/35. 

Dietro le razze ci sono dischi anteriori da 380 mm lavorati da pinze Brembo a otto pistoncini, mentre quelli posteriori sono da 355 mm abbinati a pinze con “soli” 4 pistoncini.

Cambio manuale a sei marce.
Peso inferiore ai 1.200 kg.

L'assetto è regolabile.
Dotata  di un sistema di telemetria che consente di monitorare numerosi parametri oltre ai tempi sul giro, come per esempio l’accelerazione longitudinale e trasversale. 

LA VETTURA IN ASTA
Auto di proprietà del 3 volte Campione del Mondo di Motociclismo Loris Capirossi da nuova, in origine di colore viola e riverniciata da professionisti totalmente, nell'attuale verde qualche anno fa.

L'auto ha all'attivo poche centinaia di km (200 solamente), non è mai stata utilizzata in pista ma tenuta come auto da collezione. 

Tecnicamente e meccanicamente sempre tenuta in massima efficienza.
Condizioni dell'auto pari al nuovo in tutti i suoi aspetti perfetta dalla A alla Z e pronta all'uso.

Attualmente esistono 2 Spada Codatronca al mondo e questo è l'unico esemplare TSS MONZA BARCHETTA al mondo, One-Off costruita nel 2011 su pianale Chevrolet del 2006.
