Vintage Paperweight Obelisk Monstrance/Ostensorium by Val Saint Lambert in Belgium.
 An exceptional crystal paperweight with a three-sided column on a six sided faceted column 
and a six-sided base. A beautifully carved decorative scalloped edge surrounds the front of
 the obelisk. The back is cleverly optic-cut to project a pedestal and stepped pillar, topped 
by a blazing star, signifying a monstrance. The base is signed "Val Saint Lambert."
The extra lead content (33.40%) used by Val Saint Lambert gives the piece a gorgeous quality 
and brilliance. The paperweight weighs 950 grams, is 18cm. high with a base of 10 x 9cm.
The Monstrance Paperweight is in near MINT condition with only some scratching on the base 
due to movement.
