Kenwood - KP-1100 - Turntable

KENWOOD KP-1100 is a masterpiece that was launched alongside with the model KP-990 around 1985, 1100 being the top model. While aesthetically they look similar, KP-1100 has a better SNR (90db vs 85db), a 30% higher torque motor (2kg/cm vs 1.5 kg/cm), improved motor speed stabilization, a better wow and flutter 0.005% vs 0.008% weighting also 800 more grams (14.5kg vs 13.7kg) than KP-990. Additionally, a 3-stage vibration absorption makes it extremely stable against vibrations. After a few years KP-1100 was replaced by KP-9010 which is identically both aesthetically and technically. The price include a voltage converter made by Nissyo or Kashimura from 240V to 100V, this record player being a japanese domestic model (100V). The cartridge and the head shell in the pictures are not included in this offer.
