Billy Mills est née dans un réserve amérindienne du Dakota du Sud en 1964 il gagne la médaille d'or aux 10 000 mètres aux JO.

Cette victoire a changé sa vie. Il a été acclamé par sa tribu en tant que guerrier et a reçu le nom de Makoce Teh'la, qui se traduit par "aime son pays". Il a consacré une grande partie de sa vie à travailler avec les communautés amérindiennes et reste le premier et, jusqu'à présent, le seul Américain à remporter l'or olympique sur 10 000 m.

En plus de la signature Mr. Billy Mills a ajouté "Olympic 10k Gold".
