Pembleton - Brooklands - 2019

Pembleton Brooklands General: The Pembleton is an English car based on a 2CV or Burton chassis with a 2CV engine and a Pembleton body. There were 33 built (according to the factory), most of which are located in England and therefore have the steering wheel on the right. This is one of the few with the steering wheel on the left and therefore ideally suited for mainland Europe. It was built in 2019 and is in perfect working order. Due to health reasons for both myself and the first owner, few kilometers have been driven, something that can be seen on the tires. The car has been finished with great care in detail, which can be seen in the headlights, the exhausts and the wire wheels. It has had an MOT inspection and the inspection is valid until March 24, 2025. The car had a major overhaul on February 16, 2024. The date of the first admission is 26-11-1985 and it is therefore almost a classic car in the Netherlands and therefore road tax-free. Technical details: The body is aluminium so there is paint involved. Since it has always been stored inside it is rust free. The interior is simple. A two person seat and the basic set of instruments. Earlier this year the left driveshaft got loose because of a set of badly tightened bolts. The damage has been repaired by a professional 2CV garage and they replaced the brake discs and put a completely refurbished gearbox in. The car comes with a lot of paperwork: • registration and APK (MOT) certificate. • an almost complete set of bills of all the parts like Burton chassis and Pembleton body plus a lot of miscellaneous. • The complete official Pembleton build manual. • The bills from the last service and the gearbox/break disc repair. • Last but not least the car comes with 3 keys and 2 sets of goggles. The car can be viewed in Westzaan, the Netherlands
