Authentieke morse apparaat. 

De Amerikaanse uitvinder en kunstschilder Samuel Morse vond in 1835 de morsecode uit. Zijn uitvinding van de elektrische telegraaf was van zeer grote betekenis voor de ontwikkeling van verbindingen in het tweede deel van de negentiende eeuw. Als decoratief item een telegrafeer-/morse apparaat.
