Off-White founder and famed designer Virgil Abloh and IKEA have in 2019 dropped their collaborative collection “MARKERAD”. When released the collection almost sold out instantly.

This lot contains a Sculpture Large bag from that collection. 
Based on the famous blue Ikea shopping bags, this one is made out of strong reinforced paper.

Virgil Abloh (September 30, 1980 – November 28, 2021) was an American fashion designer, Dj and entrepreneur. 
He worked for and with mayor brands and labels such as Off White, Nike, Louis Vuitton, Rimowa, Fendi, IKEA, Vitra, Braun, and Kanye West.

Abloh was also the chief executive officer of the Milan-based label Off-White, a fashion house he founded in 2013. 
He’s considered one of the most important designers from this era alongside JonOne, KAWS, Imbue , Banksy, JR, Fake, Parra, Pantone, Blek Le Rat, Daniel Arsham, Vhils, Saraiva, Basquiat, Keith Haring, Jason Freeny, Maurizio Cattelan, Murakami, Stik, Brusk, Invader, Dface etc.


IKEA from Sweden is the largest home shopping centre in the world, and has had collections and collaborations with many renowned brands and artists such as Daniel Arsham, Sabine Marcelis, Virgil Abloh, Lego, Sonos, Adidas, Piet Hein Eek, and many more.
