CASIO Electronic Keyboard VL-1 from the 1980s with original documentation and packaging.

Introduced in 1981, the CASIO VL-1 was the first synthesizer from the Japanese manufacturer and has since gained an cult status. It has been used in recordings by artists such as The Human League, Stevie Wonder or German band Trio (see last picture).

It is a 29 key synthesizer and sequencer with 5 preset sounds (Piano, Fantasy, Violin, Flute and Guitar) and 10 built-in rhythms. In addition, common to a lot CASIO products, it has a calculator function.

This present lot is exceptional in that the instrument works perfectly and is in mint condition (see photos) and comes with the original bag, box and documentation (in French, German and Italian). It is a perfect time-capsule of the 1980s sound and a must-have for a collector.
