Vintage classical guitar produced in Valencia (Spain) by the historic brand El Cid, dating roughly to the 1980s. The instrument is 3/4 size (the fraction clearly shown on the internal label inside the soundhole), a compact format ideal for young students, youngsters, or as a convenient travel guitar.
It features a glossy soundboard with the typical rosette decorated with geometric motifs around the soundhole.
The instrument is fitted with nylon strings suitable for classical guitar, but the set needs maintenance. Currently there are 4 strings installed (some of which need to be tensioned and wound correctly on the tuners), while 2 strings are entirely missing (the first and third strings, leaving two empty holes on the lower bridge).
The guitar presents in good overall vintage condition relative to its age. The soundboard is intact, the bridge is firmly attached to the body and there are normal light signs of surface wear on the finish that do not compromise the wood structure.
The instrument is sold exactly as it is and visible in the attached photographs, as a vintage piece partially to be restored on the string level. Shipping handled with protective and careful packaging.
