Beautiful and especially very typical, original page by Yu Takita (1931-1990). This original page contains all the elements typical of Yu Takita and was also published in a Garo issue ('69) dedicated to Yu Takita.

Dreytimer contains a mixture of many influences but unmistakably ‘Modern Times’ and Charlie Chaplin's ‘The Great Dictator’. The story is extremely funny yet laced with satire and dark thoughts. 
Yu Takita's work is highly regarded worldwide for its literary quality while his manga often contained few words. He illustrated in this page of ‘Dreytimer’ the art of telling a story with more onomatopoeia than actual word balloons
