Uiterst zeldzame zilveren 18e eeuwse devotiehanger met twee portret Heiligen ca 1750.
In zilveren lijst onder glas gevat met aan beide kanten hand geschilderde portretten van de heilige Magdalena en de heilige Dorothea.
Afmetingen: ca 5cm x 3,4cm.
Conditie: Gezien de ouderdom nog in zeer goede conditie. 

Heilige Maria Magdalena meestal afgebeeld met o.a. zalfpot, wierookvat, doornenkroon, gesel, doodshoofd, kruisbeeld of schriftrol. In deze devotiehanger met doodshoofd en kruisbeeld.
Zij is de beschermheilige voor o.a. boetelingen, dolende vrouwen, drogisten, hoveniers, kuipers en loodgieters

Heilige Dorothea meestal afgebeeld met o.a. zwaard, palm, kroon, mandje met bloemen / vruchten, rozenkrans. In deze devotiehanger met mandje met bloemen.
Zij is de beschermheilige voor o.a. bloemenhandelaars, jonggehuwden, kraamvrouwen, 
Brouwers, mijnwerkers..
 
Zilveren 18e eeuwse devotiehangers hebben meestal een portret van een heilige. 
Zilveren 18e eeuwse devotiehangers met aan beide zijden een heilige komen zelden voor. 
Zilver test uitgevoerd vanwege geen keurmerken gevonden.
