Magnificent Wallendorf ballerina figurine titled name “Tänzerin - Wiener Blut“/“Dancer - Viennese Blood”, as titled in “Modell Buch Wallendorf “ #1497, designed by the famous German artist Kurt Steiner in 1953, in excellent condition.

It depicts a standing ballerina dancer, graciously posing with spread arms, head lightly bended, marvelous figure in a spectacular crinoline dress with blue corsage, golden hight heels shoes and necklace, rare collector item. 

The figurine was designed by the well known artist Kurt Steiner (1904 - 1970), the famous German modeler and designer since the early 1930s, who influenced Thuringian ornamental porcelain for decades.

Wallendorf Porcelain factory has been in operation since 1764, being one of the oldest porcelain trademarks in Germany.

It is in excellent to pristine condition, marked on the back of the base with crowned W 1764 in green,  impressed numbered #1497, beautifully sculpted and glazed, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
