Een royale melkkan, gemerkt Theodor Paetsch / Frankfurt en genummerd 2396 / 5 en voorzien van het zogenaamde ''Spritzdecor''. Geschat ca 1925
Stijlvol en elegant ontwerp. Nog steeds modern en bijzondere aanvulling in een strakke, minimalistische keuken. Uiteraard ook passend in meer eclectische interieurs. 

De kan is in zeer goed, onbeschadigde staat. Geen chips.

De steengoed fabriek van Theodor Paetsch in Frankfurt / Oder produceerden  sinds het begin 1841 eeuw huishoudelijk keramiek. In de jaren 20 ontstond het Spritzdecor, een techniek van het handmatig spuiten van verf met behulp van een persluchtapparaat. De eerste ontwerpen in Spritzdecor hadden meer klassieke motieven, zoals bloemen of druiven.  Pas vanaf 1927 kwamen de geometrisch-constructivistische decors van het avantgardisme in de mode. De patronen waren nieuw en radicaal en doen denken aan Kandinsky en Feininger. Ze konden in talloze kleurvariaties worden gemaakt en maakten het dagelijks leven kleurrijker.
Het spritzdecor was geen lang leven beschoren want kort na 1933 verordende de Duitse Rijkscultuurkamer dat deze moderne motieven niet langer geoorloofd waren en de kleurrijke pracht weer plaats moets maken voor ouderwetse folklore. De avantgardistische ontwerpen verdwenen vrijwel volledig in aanloop naar de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Theodor Paetsch keramiek met avantgardisch design is zeldzaam en maakt tegenwoordig deel uit van  de collecties van Duitse Musea. 

De kan wordt zeer zorgvuldig verpakt verzonden met track and trace.
