Description from the seller

This artwork is a self-portrait by the renowned French comic artist and visionary Jean Giraud, better known as Moebius, created in 1986.
Title: Moebius, Self Portrait, 1986 (also known as Autoportrait)
Artist: Jean Giraud (Moebius, 1938–2012)
Medium/Format: Originally issued as a limited-edition serigraph / screenprint.
The paper here is not the thick 'artistic' paper, so I believe this is an offset / lithograph
Publisher: Published originally in 1986 by Galerie 2016 in Brussels.
Moebius depicts himself seated on a chair in a surreal, minimalist landscape beneath a bright circular sun and a horizontal horizon line, holding a pen and sketching board.
- N° EA XIII/XXX . épreuve artiste.
- Size: 71 x 51 cm.
- With some minor flaws in the picture around the elbow on the right, and some superficial folds underneath, see pictures attached in the lot.
- Shipped in strong tube
