Alexander Jarque began his career as a painter in 1993 at the Casa de Cultura in Pinto (Madrid). He then continued at the Aranda Academy of Fine Arts and the Rodrigo Alemán Academy of Fine Arts, where he attended until 2002. He then continued his career at the School of Arts in Salamanca, and later at the Faculty of Fine Arts in the same city. He studied the third year of his degree at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, and the fourth at the Complutense University of Madrid, where he began his academic specialization in the field of painting. He completed his degree in 2009 at the prestigious Faculty of Fine Arts in Salamanca. In 2010 he went to Italy thanks to a Leonardo da Vinci scholarship to work as an artistic director in Parma, where he founded two drawing and painting studios. After completing a Master's degree in Visual and Audiovisual Communication in Bologna, he began working in Milan as an industrial and architectural designer.
In 2017 he founded POLIÉDRICO Design Studio in Spain.
Jarque has held several solo exhibitions in Italy, specifically in Milan, Bari, and Emilia-Romagna, and numerous group shows in various Spanish cities such as Salamanca, Plasencia, Málaga, and Madrid, as well as internationally at the BAF (Bergamo Arte Fiera) and at the "Museum of the Americas" in Miami.
Some of his work has been acquired by public and private collections in Spain, Italy, Poland, Romania, Denmark, the USA, Germany, Portugal, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria…
Despite the artist's youth, Alexander Jarque's work is marked by a mature career. From the beginning, he has explored the use of space and time in painting through architectural structures, developing concepts and evolving into impressive images. Over the years, his work has matured and evolved significantly in concept and technique, becoming a very prominent artist. His latest works explore themes that concern the artist, such as the speed of this new era, the constant advancement of technology and computers, all under an eclectic vision. To convey such ideas, he has used a wide variety of materials along with quick and decisive brushstrokes to represent contemporary life. According to the artist, his latest works "simulate the enriching nature of current lifestyle, the dual reality, 'the interface' within a strict framework of multiple perspectives."
