Art Deco plafondlamp in de vorm van een tulp.
De lamp is gemaakt van opaline glas met een bijzonder vormgegeven bakeliet plafondplaat.
De lamp heeft een grote fitting.
De doorsnede van de glaskap is 14 cm., de hoogte is 18 cm.
Het geheel is in goede staat.

Thabur Art Deco Lampen
De Haagse firma THABUR maakte deze bollampen tussen 1920-1949. In 1925 telde het productiebedrijf nog maar 5 werknemers. Thabur was destijd gevestigd aan de Annastraat in Den Haag. De Amsterdammer Jozeph Blik werd in 1925 directeur van Thabur, wat zorgde voor een snelle groei van het bedrijf. In 1931 waren er al 50 mensen in dienst. In 1938 werkten er meer dan 400 mensen. Thabur glas is stevig glas. Daardoor zijn deze prachtige unieke lampen na 100 jaar nog steeds in een geweldige staat.

Thabur en de variatie
Thabur lampen zijn herkenbaar aan hun vaak ronde vorm waarbij het glas wordt vastgedraaid in een schroefrand. Van oudsher waren deze Thabur schroefranden gemaakt van bakeliet. Thabur plafondlampen met een bakelieten rand zijn zeldzamer en daardoor meer waard, zeker voor mensen die waarde hechten aan authenticiteit.
