“Radice Nuda” (Bare Root)
The name evokes both the earthy origin of the piece and its raw, honest presence—something primal and grounded, yet sculptural and intentional.

This piece is a one-of-a-kind sculptural vase, entirely handmade by Valentina Cojocaru using a high-chamotte cream stoneware (40%). With its raw, matte surface and subtle natural bruises from firing, this piece retains the expressive authenticity of its material and process. The form is soft yet grounded, an abstract vessel shaped by hand, with a gently collapsed rim and organic, swelling base. Measuring 27 cm in height and 30 cm in diameter, and weighing 5 kg, it holds a commanding presence while remaining minimal and contemplative.

This vase is not glazed or watertight and is intended to be admired as a standalone sculptural artwork or displayed with dry elements.
