Splendida coppia di vasi prodotta da ceramiche de Simone su disegno di Giovanni De Simone nel 1964. Ottime condizioni. 
Primo vaso con dimensioni pari a 25 × 10 di diametro.
Secondo vaso con dimensioni 18 × 12. Vasi realizzati e dipinti a mano nella vecchia manifattura di Palermo. Ceramiche de Simone nasce negli anni 60 dall’estro creativo del nobile palermitano Giovanni De Simone. In breve tempo il marchio si afferma nel panorama della ceramica artistica siciliana diffondendosi anche a livello internazionale grazie al proprio stile unico ed originale. La fantasia creatrice dell’artista tra ispirazione dal folklore e dalle tradizioni siciliane ed ai grandi maestri dell’arte moderna come Picasso, Matisse, Leger e Klee. De Simone inventa questo particolare colore rosso che non si deteriora in cottura. Ama la cultura siciliana, paladini, re e regine ma anche le scene Bucoliche e le rende contemporanee. È in anticipo sui tempi e verrà copiato da altri ceramisti siciliani.
