The Luxman PD 291, released in Japan in the 1980s during the Japanese "Golden Era" of high-fidelity audio equipment, is a direct drive automatic 33/45rpm turntable with a repeat function. It features a quartz-lock system for precise speed control. It has a wow and flutter of 0.03% (WRMS) and an SNR of >70 dB. This model famously had the lowest rumble measurement by Australian HiFi Magazine. It has a straight-type tonearm. Besides the excellent build quality and playback performance of this turntable, the aesthetic is wonderful. It has that really tasteful vintage appearance, with a handsome and uncluttered design. 
The turntable has seen daily use so it comes with a few slight scratches and dents as shown in the photos. The lovely low-output MC Denon DL-103R cartridge is included as-is but should still be good for 500+ hours.
