Iconici e scultorei, questi sgabelli modello Sarapis sono una delle creazioni più emblematiche di Philippe Starck per Driade, realizzati negli anni ’80. Progettati con l’inconfondibile tocco postmoderno del designer francese, gli sgabelli coniugano rigore geometrico e ironia formale in una sintesi che sfida le convenzioni dell’arredo tradizionale.

Interamente realizzati in metallo verniciato grigio antracite, presentano una struttura essenziale con seduta traforata quadrata e quattro gambe a sezione squadrata. Il dettaglio distintivo è rappresentato dallo schienale curvo a mezzaluna, un segno grafico forte che spezza l’ortogonalità del disegno e funge anche da punto d’appoggio per la schiena.

Completano la composizione i poggiapiedi tubolari in metallo cromato, fissati lateralmente, che aggiungono una nota industriale al design.

Perfetti per ambienti contemporanei, loft e spazi contract, questi sgabelli incarnano l’estetica radicale e giocosa di Starck, rendendoli tanto funzionali quanto collezionabili.
