Antieke gietijzeren parasolvoet met vergulding – begin 20e eeuw

Deze karaktervolle parasolvoet uit het begin van de 20e eeuw is een prachtig staaltje vakmanschap. Gemaakt van massief gietijzer en voorzien van een sierlijke vergulding (deels verweerd door de tand des tijds), straalt dit stuk pure elegantie en nostalgie uit.

De drie rijkelijk gedecoreerde poten eindigen in fraaie pootvormige uiteinden, versierd met gevleugelde cherubkopjes – een detail dat doet denken aan de sierkunst van het laat-19e en vroeg-20e eeuwse tuinmeubilair.
