Matrice de sceau en argent, gravée d’armoiries – XVIIIe/XIXe siècle

Belle matrice de cachet en argent (testé), présentant un large plateau ovale finement gravé d’armoiries : écu chargé de trois bandes horizontales, chacune sommée d’une tête ou buste animal stylisé, entouré d’un décor végétal baroque. Au-dessus, un cimier figurant un animal dressé complète l’ensemble héraldique.

La gravure est profonde, précise, typique du travail des ateliers d’orfèvrerie ou de serrurerie noble de la fin du XVIIIe ou du tout début du XIXe siècle. La face arrière montre un montage hexagonal réalisé à la main, avec traces d’outil cohérentes avec une fabrication artisanale.

Dimensions matrice 2,2 cm x 2 cm

Bon état général, usure d’usage normale. Lignes de soudure visibles sur la douille (typique des matrices d’époque). Gravure parfaitement lisible.
