Hyakumensho" consists of photographs and poems that capture Japanese musician Shigeru Izumiya. Izumiya is well known among Japanese people as a wildly outspoken commentator, but he is also a singer-songwriter and an artist who has worked on film art (Sogo Ishii's “Crazy Thunder Road”), and in recent years he has been active as an actor with a strong personality. This book, published in 1976, is a collection of photographs of Izumiya taken by three photographers (Teruo Sekiguchi, Osamu Nagahama, and Koji Izutsu). All of the photographs were taken mainly in 1975 and are divided into three parts: Sekiguchi in part 1, Nagahama in part 2, and Izutsu in part 3. Each photographer's style records the various faces of Izumitani, from on (during live performances) to off, but Nagahama, whose best-known works include “The Island of the Long and Bright Night” and “Hell's Angels,” captures Izumitani in coarse-grained black-and-white and captures the folk-rock and The photographs are in black-and-white and coarse-grained, and evoke the mood of the 1970s, a time of folk rock and roll and the mood of the era.
