Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC – Het vlaggenschip van de jaren 80
De Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC was het absolute vlaggenschip van het merk in de jaren 80. Een auto die niet alleen symbool stond voor kwaliteit en comfort, maar ook een teken was van succes. In de straten van Beverly Hills, Monaco of de Franse Rivièra was de 560 SEC een zeldzaam en begeerd statussymbool. Deze auto vertegenwoordigde de perfecte mix van Duitse degelijkheid, prestige, compromisloze luxe en verfijnde prestaties.

Dit prachtige exemplaar uit 1987, geleverd in Le Cannet-Cannes, Frankrijk, verkeert in uitzonderlijke staat en heeft slechts 77.000 kilometer gereden. Met zijn originele “Arctic White” lak en een crème velours interieur, ademt deze Mercedes-Benz jaren 80 op z’n best uit.

Deze Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC werd nieuw geleverd in Cannes, Frankrijk, en bracht het grootste deel van zijn leven door in dit zonnige en droge klimaat. Dat is duidelijk zichtbaar aan de staat van de auto – roestvrij en perfect bewaard gebleven.

Technisch:

De auto komt met een uitgebreide onderhoudshistorie, inclusief vele facturen die de zorgvuldige verzorging door de jaren heen bevestigen. Bovendien heeft de auto recent groot onderhoud ondergaan, waarbij de automatische transmissie, remschijven, remklauwen en accu vernieuwd werden. De auto rijdt zoals een Mercedes-Benz uit de hoogtijdagen van Stuttgart hoort te rijden: krachtig, soepel en verfijnd. De V8-motor start direct en draait zijdezacht, terwijl de automatische versnellingsbak schakelt met precisie.

Carrosserie & Lakwerk:

De witte lak straalt prachtig, is zeer strak, de bumpers en de originele en correcte Mercedes velgen zijn in prachtige staat.

Interieur:

Het crème velours interieur ziet eruit alsof het net uit de showroom komt, met prachtige houten inlegpanelen, een originele Becker-radio en een dashboard met instrumenten die nog fraai oranje kleuren. Het complete interieur inclusief deurpanelen, dashboard en houtinleg zijn in prachtige conditie.

Het vinden van een ongebruikt en onverprutst exemplaar van de 560 SEC is een zeldzame aangelegenheid aan het worden. Deze Mercedes heeft slechts drie eigenaren gehad en is altijd zorgvuldig onderhouden, zoals blijkt uit de talrijke facturen met geverifieerde kilometerstanden.
