Global warNing es mucho más que una fotografía: es un termómetro artístico sobre el cambio climático.
En este autorretrato, la artista aparece rodeada de un paisaje apocalíptico, coronada por unas hojas pintadas a mano con pintura térmica. Este pigmento reacciona al aumento de temperatura: el verde desaparece y deja entrever un marrón seco. Cuando el verde ya no regrese... sabremos que es demasiado tarde.

Lídia Vives crea una obra visualmente poderosa y profundamente conceptual, en la que la belleza y la denuncia conviven en una misma escena.

Esta pieza única está impresa sobre papel ecológico Hahnemühle Bamboo Natural Line, y enmarcada con vidrio de galería antirreflectante y marco dorado. Es una edición 1/1, firmada y acompañada de certificado de autenticidad.

SOBRE LA ARTISTA:

Lídia Vives (1991) es fotógrafa y artista visual con base en Barcelona. Su obra ha sido publicada en revistas como Vogue Italia y Esquire, y ha sido expuesta internacionalmente en museos y galerías de prestigio como el Louvre (París) y la Saatchi Gallery (Londres).

Con un estilo pictórico, simbólico y narrativo muy reconocible, Lídia crea imágenes cargadas de color, emoción y detalles ocultos —sus característicos easter eggs— que invitan a una observación atenta y profunda.

Ha participado en varias ferias de arte contemporáneo a nivel internacional, y su obra ha sido mostrada en todo el mundo. Entre las próximas citas destacadas se encuentran la Art Fair Daegu (Corea del Sur) y la Affordable Art Fair Viena (Austria), donde su trabajo volverá a dialogar con públicos diversos y coleccionistas de todas partes.
