A unique piece, a Val Saint Lambert vase by Charles Graffart, designed beginnings of the 1950’s , This vase is a fine example of the renowned Belgian crystal works, Val Saint Lambert, known for its high-quality cut crystal.
The distinctive ruby red and clear facets, along with the geometric cuts, are characteristic of the Art Deco style popular during the early 20th century.

The Boléro model, however we see that the details and the techniques in this vase are a lot different, combining different patterns from the perfected "doubling" technique, where a layer of coloured crystal is applied over clear crystal to the diamond clear cut away to reveal intricate patterns, as seen in this vase.
This type of pieces is highly sought after by collectors due to their craftsmanship and historical significance in the realm of luxury crystal.
The vase is signed at the bottom with the indication of PU (pièce unique/unique piece) to indicate its uniqueness ,unlike the MPU val saint Lambert vases where they are still uniques pieces made by masters of the cristallerie however made in a limited number of series.  That’s what distinguishes the PU signature from the Mpu.
I would say the vase is an excellent condition overall, however a little chip on the its top is visible in one of the photos.
