Rare coupe à fruits ou centre de table de style Art Nouveau, réalisée vers 1905 par la prestigieuse manufacture allemande WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik).

En métal argenté à finition oxydée (accentuant l’impression de relief), cette pièce présente un décor ajouré particulièrement raffiné de fleurs de chardon stylisées, motif emblématique du Jugendstil.
Les lignes ondulantes de la frise évoquent la fluidité végétale typique du répertoire ornemental Art Nouveau, dans une composition symétrique parfaitement maîtrisée.

Il s’agit d’un modèle représentatif de la production WMF au début du XXᵉ siècle.

Fondée en 1853, WMF devient 1900 et 1925 un acteur central dans la diffusion du style Art Nouveau / Jugendstil, avec une production en série de pièces inspirées de la nature : chardons, iris, pavots, cygnes, nymphes… alliant fonction et esthétique.

La coupe porte trois poinçons WMF :
	•	WMF dans un losange avec autruche : poinçon d’exportation utilisé de 1903 à 1925
	•	“OX” : finition mate type vieil argent (oxidised silver)
	•	“I/O” : qualité d’argenture standard selon les classifications internes de la marque

Excellent état général. Très belle brillance de l’argenture. Vendu sans le plat en verre.
