Description
An exceptional example of authentic Norwegian craftsmanship: a large, functional 20th‑century rokk (spinning wheel), historically used in rural Norway for turning wool into yarn. Thoughtfully maintained, yet unrefinished, preserving patina and authenticity.

Key Features
•	Origin: Norway, likely early- to mid‑1900s
•	Materials & Craftsmanship: Solid pine or fir frame; hand‑turned wheel and flyer, screw‑tension adjustment beneath the sliding support board. No metal brackets in joinery — all traditional wooden pins and plugs.
•	Dimensions: ~91 cm H × 105 cm L × 50 cm W
•	Condition: Fully functional. Signs of appropriate age and use: surface wear, small scuffs, and minor imperfections in wood grain. No major repairs; flyer and bobbin operate smoothly.
•	Use: Designed for spinning wool—fibers were drawn across the flyer while the wheel turned to twist and wind yarn onto the bobbin.

Historical & Functional Context
This style—often called “slant‑table” or “double‑table” Norwegian wheel—is emblematic of household textile production throughout 19th-century Norway.
