DESCRIPTION

Hsun Ok, boîte à offrandes en bambou spiralé, pointe en bois tourné, Etat Shan, Birmanie, première moitié du XXème  siècle.  

Hauteur: 58 cms.    Diamètre: 34 cms.

ETAT

Mauvais état, mais normal pour un objet de cette époque et qui a servi durant au moins trois générations, porte les traces de son utilisation, manques, relaquage, peinture, la pointe en bois est ancienne mais n'est pas d'origine (voir photos). Cependant, cette laque est solide et peut être exposée dans l'état. Un nettoyage en profondeur pourrait être utile.

Un modèle similaire se trouve dans le livre, « Burma and the Art of Lacquer » de Ralph Isaacs et T. Richard Burton ( voir photos).
