Leo Setz

Donkergroen glas uit de 17e eeuw speelt in dit stilleven een belangrijke rol. Met name het linkse zandloperglas wordt niet vaak uit de bodem opgegraven, maar acteert hier samen met de rozenbottels en het gebroken-witte kommetje. De steel van de houten lepel in de kom geeft het schilderij nog wat extra diepte. Een stilleven met dagmaat 32 x 34 cm dat door de fraaie compositie ook echt rust uitstraalt.
Zowel de lijst als het schilderij zijn in perfecte staat.

Het schilderij gaat vergezeld van een Certificaat van Echtheid en een C.V. van de kunstenaar.

Het werk van Leo Pors werd al meerdere malen afgebeeld in o.a. de kunstbladen Tableau, Collect en VIND. Het was te zien op vele tentoonstellingen, waaronder in het Gorinchems museum, samengebracht met werk van o.a. Ans Markus en Tjalf Sparnaaij. In veel Europese landen hebben verzamelaars werk van hem in hun bezit. De schilderijen worden daarnaast in bedrijfscollecties vertegenwoordigd, terwijl ook in Hong Kong, Taiwan, de VS en Australië hun werk wordt aangekocht door kunstliefhebbers.
