LEGO-set 76139, officieel 1989 Batmobile genoemd, is gebaseerd op de film Batman uit 1998 van Tim Burton, het eerste deel van de eerste Batman-filmserie van Warner Bros. Dit prachtig gedetailleerde LEGO-model bootst de klassieke rondingen van de beroemde Batmobile-auto na, zoals te zien in de Batman-film uit 1989. Fans zullen dol zijn op authentieke kenmerken zoals het openschuifbare cockpit omhullende voorruitelement, 2 verborgen machinegeweren met een pop-upfunctie die wordt geactiveerd door de uitlaat van de turbine te draaien. De set wordt geleverd met 3 nieuwe minifiguren, waaronder Batman met een nieuwe torso, The Joker met een nieuw gezicht en nieuwe torso en Vicki Vale plus een van stenen gebouwde displaystandaard voor minifiguren.

LEGO 40433 1989 Batmobile was een 366-delige DC Comics Super Heroes promotieset die in 2019 werd uitgebracht. Het werd uitgebracht een gratis promotie met de Black Friday-release van de Ultimate Collector Series-stijl Batmobile, 76139 1989 Batmobile. Als de Tim Burton's Batmobile-set tussen 29 november en 5 december (2019) bij verschillende LEGO-winkels is gekocht, was deze set een gratis geschenk bij aankoop (GWP) en is het een kleiner minifiguur-schaalmodel van dezelfde iconische Batmobile.
