Description. Jingasa 陣笠 Samurai Helmet - "MIGI MITUDOMOE" crest 右三つ巴家紋 Jinkasa, Lacquered wood. Jingasa Samurai Helmet with gold makie family crest. It is said to be the first family crest to appear in history in Japan. During the Edo period, it was used by feudal lords such as the Kuki clan of Tanba, the Arima clan of Chikugo, and the Itakura clan of Bitchu, as well as around 350 families of direct vassals of the Edo Shogunate. ■Size of a 陣笠. 13 cm(5.10") in height. 31 cm(12.16") in width. 35 cm(13.73") in length. Weight 596g/ 20.98oz. Material :Lacquered wood. Good condition. Please look at pictures carefully and judge the condition before bidding.
